A divided King County Council is dickering over how to divvy up lodging tax revenue among the ballpark, affordable housing and tourism promotion.

The ambitious plan would target families, veterans and boosting the housing stock.

Search software company Elastic NV is the latest Silicon Valley tech business to join the IPO parade.
