U.S. Bank names new market president for Northern California

U.S. Bank said Tuesday that it named long-time Bay Area banker Mahesh Kharkar as its Northern California market president, a role in which he will direct commercial banking in the region and serve as the local face for the Minneapolis-based bank. Kharkar succeeds Michael Righi, who left U.S. Bank (NYSE: USB) in February, according to Righi’s LinkedIn profile. Everyone was tight-lipped on his departure.
