A small factory in Cascade Locks could represent big change for the apparel industry. Nicole Bassett and Jeff Denby founded the Renewal Workshop in 2016, aiming to create a closed loop for damaged but repairable clothing. The company isn’t yet profitable, but it’s growing fast: It has 15 industry partners and Bassett said she’s in active business development with at least that many more.
