Oracle President Thomas Kurian tells employees he’s taking ‘extended’ time off

Oracle Corp. President Thomas Kurian, the executive who heads up the company’s software engineering operations, is stepping away from the business for an unspecified period of time. Kurian told employees in an email that he was taking “extended time off from Oracle,” while thanking them for assisting in the company’s transition to cloud adoption, CNBC reported Thursday. “He’s taking some time off.
