Lattice names ex-AMD exec as new CEO

Portland chip maker Lattice Semiconductor has named a new president and CEO. Jim Anderson will fill the president and CEO role left vacant when Darin Billerbeck retired earlier this year. Anderson starts Sept. 4. He was also named to board of directors.
