Harley-Davidson says it will open Silicon Valley R&D facility in late 2018

Harley-Davidson Inc. said Wednesday that will open a new research and development facility in Silicon Valley later this year, initially hiring about 25 people from the local market. The Milwaukee-based motorcycle company intends to use the facility to support the development of its newest electric bike line, LiveWire, which will hit the market in roughly 12 months.
