FLIR Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) said this morning it has made a “strategic investment” in a sensor systems company. FLIR didn’t disclose how much money it’s investing in Singapore-based Cvedia PTE Ltd. Inc., which makes “machine learning applications that are used to efficiently enable sensor systems with artificial intelligence.” The Wilsonville company has worked with Cvedia before, using its datasets in crafting its own applications.
