Silicon Valley executive settles insider trading investigation with SEC
A longtime executive at Foster City-based security software company Qualys, Inc. is stepping down after agreeing to pay $581,000 to settle a federal investigation into insider trading. Amer Deeba, 51, joined Qualys in 2001 as its chief marketing officer, when it was a two-year-old startup.
