Report: Knight gives Buehler $1M

Phil Knight appears to have given Oregon Republican gubernatorial candidate Knute Buehler another substantial gift. Willamette Week reported Thursday night that Knight, the founder of Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE), gave Buehler $1 million. Buehler’s campaign didn’t confirm the donation, which hadn’t appeared in his state campaign database as of 7:40 a.m. Friday.
