U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg introduced her order closing down the Georgia Aquarium’s bid to secure 18 beluga whales from Russia with a quotation inscribed on the entry wall of the aquarium’s Ocean Voyager exhibit: "The oceans deserve our respect and care, but you have to know something before you can care about it."
